The Maharashtra Council of Agricultural Education and Research (MCAER- State Council), Pune is a statutory body which has been constituted under Section 12 of the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities (Krishi Vidyapeeth) Act, 1983. Maharashtra Council of Agriculture Education and Research conducts the Common Entrance Test (CET) through the Maharashtra Agricultural Universities Examination Board (MAUEB), Pune for admission to various Post Graduate Programmes in the State Agricultural Universities (SAUs) in Maharashtra. Admission will be given on the basis of merit formulated by considering weightage of 70 per cent of the CET score and 30 percent of the CGPA of the student.A

  • B.Sc.(Agri.) / B.B.A.(Agriculture) /B.Sc.(ABM) / B.Sc.(BBM) / B.Sc.(Agri. Bio-Tech.) / B.Tech. (Agril.Engg.)
  • /B.Sc.(Horti.) / B.Sc.(Forestry) / B.Tech. (Food Tech.) / B.Sc.(Hons.) HomeSciencedegree or equivalent degree with four years duration of agriculture-related Universities and having the Common Entrance Test in Agriculture faculty conducted by MAUEB, Pune.

Application Fee

  • Fees for open Candidate is Rs. 600/-  
  • fees for Reserved Category Rs.300/-.
  • All candidates including those belonging to the reserved category from States other than Maharashtra shall pay Rs.600/-.

Syllabus

  • The Examination shall contain objective type multiple choice questions.
  • All questions have to be answered.
  • Questions will be related to the syllabus of B.Sc. (Agri) level. Number of Questions: 200 Total Marks: 200 Type of Questions: MCQ Each correct answer will be given one mark.
  • There shall be no negative marking for wrong answers MCAER PG Admission will be given on the basis of merit formulated by considering weightage of 70% of the MCAER PG CET score and 30% of the CGPA of the students
