Chaudhary Charan Singh Haryana Agricultural University popularly known asCCHAU is one of Asia s biggest agricultural universities, located at Hisar in the state of Haryana. It is named after India s seventh Prime Minister, Chaudhary Charan Singh. It is a leader in agricultural research in India and contributed significantly to Green Revolution and White Revolution in India in the 1960s and 70s. It has a very large campus and has several research centers throughout the state. Choudhry Charan Singh Haryana Agriculture University conducts entrance exam “The CCS HAU Entrance Exam” every year for admission to B.sc Hons, M.sc, PG diploma programs and other masters programs .

Eligibility Criteria

  • (1) B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4-year: 10+2 or equivalent having passed with Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Math or Agriculture stream from a recognized University/Board with 50% marks in 10+2 (relaxable up to 47.5% for SC candidates) (2) B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year: Matric with 60% marks (relaxable up to 57% for SC candidates) from a recognized Board.

For B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 4-year program. The exam shall be of 200 questions of 100 marks with 3 hours duration. Candidates shall be required to appear in i) Physics (100 questions of 50 marks) ii) Chemistry (50 questions of 25 marks) and iii) Biology/Math./Agri (50 questions of 25 marks). For B.Sc. (Hons.) Ag. 6-year (2+4) program: The exam shall be of 100 questions of 100 marks with 2 and 1/2 hours duration. Candidates shall be required to appear in i) General Science (40 questions of 40 marks) ii) Mathematics (40 questions of 40 marks) and iii) English (20 questions of 20 marks)."
