Why You Should join?

Among subjects in the humanities, Oriental Studies is unique in introducing students to  Near Eastern and Far Eastern civilisations that are different from the Western ones . The courses present both the major traditions of the regions studied and, in most cases, their modern developments. All courses include language, literature, history and culture, and there is a wide range of options in such fields as art and archaeology, history, literature, philosophy, religion and modern social studies. Career options exist in finance, the media, commerce, the Civil Service, law, accountancy and the arts.

Who Should join?

One can do Bachelor (B.O.L.) as well as Masters in Oriental Studies (M.O.L.).

  • For Bachelor degree course you must have passed S.S.C./H.S.C. or its equivalent.
  • And for masters in oriental studies, you must studied and passed B.O.L. or B.A. with additional Oriental Learning.
